In memory and honor of our fallen brother, we have formed The Matthew Nierenberg Memorial Foundation Inc. The MNMF is a non profit organization committed to helping others. The primary mission is to provide an annual scholarship to a deserving youth. The scholarship is annually awarded to the student that exemplifies Matt’s persona best. Matt’s “Heart of Gold Scholarship” is intended for the student that lives life similar to the way that Matt did, a way of life full of zest and a passion to care for others. It is not based on grades or financial status, it is soley awarded on the students demeanor. The Matthew Nierenberg “Heart of Gold” Scholarship is then awarded to that special high school senior to use for anything he/she needs during the tenure of their continued education.
